My name is Bob Hickman and I'm the Business Applications Practice Leader at Habañero Consulting Group. If you look at the About page of my blog, you'll see that I've cast my net pretty wide for topics that I plan on posting about.
I've been involved in the IT industry for over 17 years and worked in a multitude of roles, from the harried Tech Support guy to the Vice President of Technology. Technology has always been a passion of mine, and I feel that we are in the midst of a special time in its evolution, that we're finally seeing reality catch up to the vision of 10 to 15 years ago.
My goal for this blog is to explore and share the leading practices of enterprise software development on the Microsoft platform. I also hope to bring together the technical aspects of software development and application architecture with the business oriented aspects of organizational strategy, business/technology alignment and IT governance.
